"Obsession" is a sculpture piece contained completely inside of a small wine box. I wanted to discuss our generation's major obsession with makeup and beauty arts, and how these practices sometimes render it's subject unrecognizable. Perhaps the most important element of this piece is actually the photography, rather than the actual sculpture. In my photos I wanted the scene to seem life-size and atmospheric, almost as though one could step into the photo- while still maintaining an unsettling aesthetic.
