Albinism in India.

Albinism in India.
This Project was based on the killings of Albinos in African countries and the lack of attention that Albinos get in liberal country like India. Due to lack or absence of pigments (melanin) in hair, eye and/or skin people get Albinism in the first place. They have pale skin in  comparison to any other person and so they are cast away from the Indian society for looking different. These kids in the following project are partially blind and go to a Blind School in Pune, India. Most of them stay in  a hostel nearby the school and are away from their parents  most of the year. Indian people have a really wrong mindset looking at Albinos and hence they don’t like to associate to them. It’s generations of misconceptions that have led the people to such conclusions.Efforts are being taken by schools to educate the upcoming generations about Albinism and problems related to it but at a really small amount.
