Kimchi is a very important food so much so as rice for Koreans in which the making process of such traditional food is inscribed on UNESCO’s  Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. 
The purpose of the packaging design is to amplify the inherent value of such a precious food while improving the awareness of Kimchi as a global dish. 

The white background and round frame connote the warm-hearted disposition of Korean ancestors who were called, the white-clad people. As kimchi was one of the dishes served on the royal table, the pristine culinary work of art was presented on a golden brass dish. The golden brass dish symbolized a dish that served precious food at the time. The images of the 100% natural ingredients emphasize the benefits of fresh and healthy kimchi. 

This kimchi packaging design implies the authenticity of the ancestors through a modern packaging design to share the original sentiment of the major Korean traditional food.
