Pork Soda
Pineapples are in my head. Got nobody 'cause I'm brain dead.
The concept of this poetry book was to take a piece of text from a song, story, movie script, etc. that immediately give you images in your mind. I chose the first verse and chorus of "Pork Soda" by Glass Animals. I was attempting to achieve not only the imagery of the lyrics, but strange type compositions to accommodate the interesting sound Glass Animals bring to each of their songs. I achieved his through transparencies, repeating and skewing text, and also overlapping. This helped give my book a strange mood of uneasiness.
