A la Ronde
Drinking together, sharing one single chalice, is a ritual with an ancient and deep meaning. It´s the way in which people have been making agreements, alliances, and marriages for thousands of years. Until not so long ago, the families of Valle d´Aosta used to celebrate unions, friendships, and births drinking in turn from a chalice called ¨grolla¨. In such a contemporary interpretation, the convivial function is combined with that of oxygenating important wines before drinking them to best appreciate their taste and aromas.
