SBWA is a wealth management and investment firm, primarily working with high income and wealth legacy clients and top tier investors. Coming from the traditional big, DBA banking world, firm founder Stephanie Bruno knew that the personal nature of investing and financial planning needed a more authentic and tailored approach than was presently being offered – especially in regard to legacy clients & 1st generation wealth builders who need detailed financial management & planning for their families and future generations. Seizing the moment (and her niche), Stephanie has grown the firm's reputation and client list by +37% in the past 2 (recession-based) years alone. SBWA called us because their branding needed to reflect that as a boutique investment firm, they are not only professional and reliable but timely and forward thinking – as are their clients. They needed style and substance. The brand positioning had to have both classic lines and flexibility as they introduce more digital and new media use into their client services, communications and products.

Utilizing a core typographic icon, we knew the logo had to build the foundation of flexibility the project would require. Specifically designed to be used as both a single main ID icon and as a group/ wallpaper application, it is applied in different colors and treatments when used on their various materials and for different services. All the corporate materials are then able to expand to meet the many communication and promotional needs the firm has at present – seminars, personal "Wealth Retreats" (TM), presentations to both trade/ B2B and client contacts – and the new and upcoming services and products they will roll out in the future, as the firm grows.

SBWA is a smart and uniquely brave client. The financial investment /wealth management world is not usually the place you find clients eager to push boundaries and take some, well-calculated, chances – but they did and are thrilled with the results. The bold color palette and the sophisticated approach have been very successful and have brought SBWA strong brand recognition in their niche industry as well as kudos from current clients (and a lot of recommendations), too.

Logo / Corp ID : We utilized the logo in a wallpaper pattern. First printed on BC's, the inner on the #10 envelopes, and note cards, the client then loved our idea that they be used as backing sheets and fly sheets for personal wealth retreat meetings and client portfolio delivery & review.
