WEEK THREE
Week Three: Of the third week, yet again the class used the 3D CAD software program, SOLIDWORKS that we were introduced to last week (2). Many classmates such as myself were unknown to using this program as it was their first time, thus we were given about two days to fool around with the program and get familiar with the tools. After about two days, the task for this week was to create a 1x1 dice of any color, texture, background, fillets, etc.

For the rest of the week, the class worked on finishing this dice. After creating the dice, we put an initial of our first and last name on the number 1 to decipher who owns what dice.
SolidWorks
The dice I had made (image at the bottom): What I first did was use a front plane, dimimension it 1 inch in length and 1 inch in width. From there I proceeded to use the tool to extrude base the plane 1 inch in diameter - a cube is created. Before doing this dice, in class we learned that the opposite side of the faces should equal up to the sum of 7 - 1-6, 2-5, and 3-4. Each hole I had created was 0.8 inches in diameter and about 0.5 inches extrude cut into the dice.
