• I don't do a lot of commissions, but every once in a while I can be persuaded. A friend really wanted a drawing of a wunderpus, and since I think octopodes are awesome I figured I'd give it a go.

  • Those little dots drove me bonkers, but I believe that if you're going to do something you've got to do it right.
  • The early stages. I'm so glad I did this on my big Cintiq. There was no other way to get those graceful swooping shapes.
  • I stopped here for a while because I was a little overwhelmed by all the stripes, and spots, and other little details. I'm glad I pushed through, though. So worth it.
  • Outline mode and shapes. Little dots aside, this turned out to be one of my less complicated drawings. I'm not used to seeing basically the same general drawing when I hit command-Y.
