Proof of concept for Santa Clara Law: touch screen kiosk to guide faculty, students, staff, and visitors around the law school.

Designed, implemented, and tested using the API from the law school's content management system.  Built with Ruby on Rails and is a component of the myLife project.

Using the touch kioks, faculty and staff are able to scroll though the upcoming events and meetings, students are able to browse the upcoming classes, and all are able to read about the most recent news.

myLife kiosk bring simplicity and ease to all the users as it eliminates the need for them to log in to various accounts online to find out when and where they need to be next.

In the future, the team has envisioned an interactive map to help guide new visitors to their desired location and also a more personalized view for those who need more specific information.  The personalized view would look similar to the myLife project.
Home screen for kiosk.  Able to scroll through upcoming events, meetings, and classes.  All elements are updated real time.
Detailed view of Events.  Here the user can scroll through all of the events and find out additional information.  The Calendar, Meetings, and Classes view look similar.
