The design of the OPEN//CLOSED restaurant, from the aesthetics to the functions, presents the guests with an opportunity to encounter different dining environments within one space.

Openings and closings are a key feature of this restaurant in response to how we can use design to change our dining experience as well as to influence our relationship with food. Flexible and changeable systems are implemented into the design of open/closed through various methods catering to public and private dining experiences.
