Illustration for an overly aggressive "Fighting Armadillo". It was suggested I go "medieval". I did.
Once a nifty character was envisioned, it was time to do something with it.
Inspired by a sign I saw while returning from a Keys trip. The sign simply said "TUNACLAWS". I decided to figure out what that would look like.
Once a tuna with claws was hammered out, I decided it would make a nice product line.
Over 90 layers went into the creation of this image. Titled "Rust and Powerlessness", I just really enjoyed the challenge of creating a profile from machine parts and wire harnesses.
Thought it makes an effective book-cover for King's crazy tale.
