The pleasure of being nowhere

The pleasure of being nowhere (4.45΄΄)
Music-video: Giorgos Tsaknias 2010

Transient images of men and women upon reflective surfaces, bringing in mind Nietzche’s aphorism: “Insofar as the senses show us a state of becoming, of transiency and of change, they do not lie”. We hear the voice of John Cage (1912-1992), the American avant-garde composer, from a 1969 recording: “We are having the pleasure of being slowly nowhere” The human reflections change, break to pieces, multiply: they are everywhere, therefore nowhere.
