Is it weird to want to kiss one of your own artworks? Maybe it's just the paint fumes.What a learning curve! So happy to have finally taken the plunge with adding the gold foiling (and a little bit of paint) to this piece, it's not perfect but I am really enjoying the new addition.I still don't feel like she is totally 'done', but she is done for now :)

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
'Bloom’ is the exploration of the paradox that within reservation lies the key to uninhibited openness. This is a common and natural practise for the artist, to retreat into oneself to then fully emerge in truthful (and often explosive) expression.
