CHARACTER DESIGN
A new character is designed by live study of a person and his behaviour and surroundings. I studied a barbar . His attitute towards life was very laid back and hence I designed a new character with his traits and some comparisions with a sloth. Then came up with a story which was far from reality but a satire on reality of today. Clay Modeling was done for this Character Development. Thus was born Mahi Bhai, The character.
STORY
"Boooooom" "Baaaaaaaash" "POooooooooooW" and another corporate eagle destroyed by Mahi Bhai. MAhi bhai is a neighbourhood friendly Barbar and Part time protector of the city from corporate eagles who hypnotise people to get the work done by giving them loads of green leaves and enslaving them without the people realising it, and once they touch the green leaves there is no coming back, they are infested with a disease called "busy" and become the part of the circus run by CG (Corporate Gaint). CG is the nemesis of Mahi Bhai, and he keeps sending the corporate eagles to scavange on people from time to time. As a sworn protector Mahi does his best to stop them with his magic potion that he crafted especially to defeat CG. The potion is a mix of time and wisdom and it contains the power to slow down the muscles of the opponents, once slowed down Mahi uses his sloth arm with razor sharp nails to finish the eagles, he also uses these nails to cut hair, who would want to use scissors if their nails are blade. With these increasing encounters with the eagles day by day Mahi Bhai has No time to wash himself up and after taxing fights he is left covered in muck and his once white shirt is now a offwhite with such mix of dirt, sweat and soot. After beating down this corporate eagle which was 5th of the day Mahi BHai was sure that he would encounter CG today. His energy was low and the last bits of the potion remained in the container. He had just settled down for a cutting chai to boost his energy levels and just kept down his spray bottle of potion when, something whooshed past him with incredible speed and the next moment he saw his spray bottle gone. He looked around and in distance saw none other than CG slyly smiling with the potion in his hand. Angered by this Mahi Bhai ran with full speed and CG also ran, CG stoped in a street where his home Corporate office was now they were Facing each other, Anger flashing in Mahi Bhais eyes and his sloth eye getting bigger but the inner peace just couldnt wipe off the smile from his face and CG looking as Sly as a fox after eating stolen fish. They ran toward each other and the fight began CG tried to use his mouse wire tool to capture Mahi but he cut the wire off with his nails and then CG threw sharp green leaves at Mahi bhai, his lean figure helped him avoid the leaves by turning around them and cutting through few. With every attempt by CG they came closer and his giant figure towering upon Mahi. Mahi bhai was half CG's height and reached just above his waist. They came too close in one encounter and Mahi seized the Moment and grabed his potion bottle from CG's waist belt, went back two steps and sprayed the last bits straigth in his stomach, within seconds CG slowed down and started to fall back thats when Mahi climbed up his knees and reached his heart and put his nails straight through and ended CG. Trrriiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn alarm went off and Mahi Bhai woke up unable to come out of the dream looked down at his hands both were normal, on the table next to his bed was his favorite sissors and the spray bottle with water in it kept exactly as he had when he went to sleep, he went to the mirror and what he saw stunned him. His right eye was bigger and a strange discoloration like a sloths eye had happened.
