About a year after I had done my 'FFVII Remix' pieces, I reached out to a 3D artist who goes by 'The Regressor', a while back he did a reimagining of the characters from Final Fantasy XV if it were released 20 years ago.

We collaborated to create a series of illustrations in anticipation of the launch. 

The process was similar to the previous pieces, but this time we would work together to get the right pose, then he would send me an outline of the model for me to work from. Once we had a flat image we were happy with, I'd take it into photoshop to add the finishing touches.
