Opioid Kinetic Typography
It seems like everyday on the news we hear about drug bust or even worse, overdose. With the rise of prominence in heroin and other opioids in Cuyahoga County, I wanted to create a piece that was both informative and helpful. I decided to make a kinetic typography motion piece that gave startling facts and statistics about opioid use, but also pointed to where someone could get help. I chose a friendly color and typeface purposefully, not to take away from the seriousness of the subject, but to create a piece that is approachable, and not condemning or intimidating. I wanted viewers to understand the graveness and severity of this issue, but understand that there is hope but learning where they can find resources.
