Bioré - Inbetween Skin

Bioré, 2009
For the Bioré Skin Preservation product launch, I designed the experience for the "Inbetween Skin" campaign site and supporting online interactive.
"Inbetween Skin" launch site

The primary hub for the campaign. It hinged on the photos and voice of 116 women we interviewed and photographed for both the education and interactive experiences. Post launch, any user could add their voice to the experience through the "Inbetween Nation" piece (see below).

"Inbetween Nation"

This interactive survey visualizer allowed the Bioré audience to take a fun quiz and see how they stacked up against other women in their demographic. Even better, users could log in through Facebook and see how their specific friends answered the questions.
"The Skin Personator"

The "SkinPersonator" was designed to poke fun at the beauty industry's typical message towards women: you're a teen with zits or you're an aging wrinkly woman. With this toy, women could upload pictures of themselves (or friends) and literally put words in their mouth with animated lips. The final result was an irreverent toy that played it straight, but also allowed hilarious unintended usage depending on whatever photo a user uploaded. We felt that was the key to giving it more "viral" potential.
