This was an illustration class project to create a promotional poster for the 2016 election. My idea was that voting is our liberty, or our freedom. Deciding not to vote is the same as relinquishing your freedom of speech and choice. Thus, making society robotic. I was inspired by Alphonse Mucha for the "heroine" of my poster. Maybe she's Lady Liberty. Here's my process from inspiration, sketch, acrylic painting, and finally to digital scan.
