T-shirt Design Competition Entry
My entry for the Big Blue T-Shirt design competition. The artwork is based on an old photograph of an old school skater carving up the streets with ridiculous "steeze" ( if you are unfamiliar with the term it basically means with ridiculous levels of super cool style). I thought it would be interesting to leave the mid tone out of the artwork using just the shadows and hi-lights, letting the color of the shirt be the mid tone. I enjoyed this project as the original photograph was greatly inspiring and certainly needed to end up on a T-shirt.
