Tribeca Film Festival Logo Redesign

The Tribeca Film Festival is a prominent film festival held in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, showcasing a diverse selection of independent films. The current logo is extremely simple, yet iconic and doesn't include symbols or icons about 'film'. So for the redesign, I wanted to continue that same feeling. After my research and sketches I decided to
base it off the neighborhood's footprint, the trapezoid shape. While creating the logo I realized that it can be seen as a theatre screen or a shinning light.
