There was a lot of places in the cities where machines were occupants. Unfortunately or fortunately, in the 1950s they had to move out of there. Then the artists started replace machines's place and convert factory space into original flats and studios. This is how industrial style was born. Once a compulsion, today a synonym for good taste and design.
