For this project, I created a Day of the Dead Skull to teach myself mirror drawing in Adobe Illustrator. The first part of this task was to figure out how to create a skull shape. I sketched out some ideas and figured out the structure of the skull using circles. Once I was happy with my skull shape I planned out the design of the skull and chose the colours I wished to use for the project. 

Once I was happy with my finished drawing I moved to Adobe Illustrator. I followed Helen's instructions to create the template for the project and laid out my circles to help create the structure of the skull.

Once I was happy with the circle layout, I proceeded to lay out the skull based on my original sketch and had some fun choosing colours and trying new techniques in Adobe Illustrator to create shapes to help with my layout. I'm pretty happy with the final result.
