"Oracle"
I came across an old word that used to entice me, Oracle. This word, used as a title of one who communes with Gods, is so deeply mystical in my heart's ear. I wanted to depict the awe and the sacredness of such a being enraptured in divine communion. Entangled in redwood lit by cascading light she hears the voices of those who uphold all. Painting this was a great joy, the colors, the lighting, it all unfolded organically and with ease. May we all know the holy power of listening.
