Creating a new identity for an established company
PrintMasters originally came to us for help with their social media marketing. We discovered that they were in serious need of branding. A solid foundation and positioning statement needed to be established before we could commence with the SMM campaign. We also needed to ascertain their benefits and assets that set them apart from other commercial printers and determine their competitive advantage.

By researching their competition, we discovered that they offer a much higher quality product. The owner's expertise on color is unmatched in the area. We learned about their environmentally-friendly processes that were not a requirement, however, the owner had strong opinions about protecting the environment whenever possible. We took the client through stages of the design and narrowed the choices down to three, then two. Finally, they decided on  their new brand image.

Now, we can establish their profile on several social media platforms, update their website to include SEO and create community awareness through events and trade show participation.
This choice, and the choice below, features the different dots used in commercial printing. The traditional square dot used in letterpress printing, the round dot for high speed web press, and the elliptical (chain) dot for offset-lithography.
This design choice features a simple representation of the roller and paper, except the roller is replaced with a leaf signifying their green efforts and concern for the environment..
The final design incorporated the 4 color process, CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black
and introduces the green aspect by changing the fourth dot to a green leaf.
We also developed their tag line, which defines the client's promise and the customer's expectations.
