Staying true to the environmentally friendly ethos of Stella McCartney and Prop Studios, the Pop-Up was entirely constructed in sustainable materials.

Consisting of a slick cash desk and a series of units to merchandise the Stella McCartney multi-award-winning clothing and accessories, the units were hand-crafted in birch ply, with bespoke brushed stainless steel fittings and CNC'd corrugated cardboard paneling. The unit tops were inlaid with hot magenta felt and the bases were set with contrasting grey felt.

Each unit had a shadow gap at top, which was fitted with LED lighting to project light down onto the faceted cardboard paneling, creating an interesting effect.

In addition, Prop Studios made the bespoke rubber circular flooring. Coloured rubber was carefully selected to match the Stella McCartney branding. The rubber was then die-cut into specific shapes to create an illusion of 3D blocks, and the Stella logo was punched in contrasting strong magenta rubber. The pieces were then all inlaid by hand into a huge circular bespoke CNC'd wooden ramp.

One of the Prop Studios installation teams then travelled to Paris to install the Pop-Up hop into Galeries Lafayette at night. The scheme was very well received by the client.
