Painted Portrait.

In my Electronic Imaging class, we were tasked with creating a painted portrait of our selves. I chose to do mine in a more painted style instead of hyper realistic. I started with my face, minus the eyes and mouth, which really helped me set the tone for the project.

Next I added my remaining facial features, the mouth and eyes were fairly easy to do, but when it came to the eyebrows it became difficult. I decided to go more for a blob eyebrow instead of doing the individual hairs because I felt it fit better with the overall style
Then I added my glasses and hand, pretty straight forward.
Finally I added the hair and the background. I had more fun with this project that I thought I would and I hope to do more of other people in the future. I gained a lot of useful experience from this project and I hope to apply it to future projects.
