This is a creative research in using media art, especially projection mapping, to re-create historical religious moments for augmenting experiences. Using Christianity as a theme, I mapped a religious object; and re-created the death on cross and overlaid drawing symbols on top of the object.
How does one approach new media in terms of religion? By studying the artifact in its history, context, form, and religious value. I was able to come up with a visual story to awe audiences and keep the holy silence in religion.
