When I'm cooking at home one of my biggest pet peeves is efficiency. I'm often pressed for time, so cooking a meal needs to be as quick and easy as possible which means things need to be organised, in their designated place and easily accessible. My herbs and spices area of my pantry is the hardest to keep clean and efficient - so for this brief I decided to do something about it.

I created a dieline for a box that would stack well, contain the correct volume, hold the top flap down securely for re-use and still fold down completely flat for recycling. I kept the Gregg's colour scheme the same to ensure brand consistency while adding a more illustrative element in the herb drawings.

On the back, I added a window to measure remaining quantities. For this to work, I replaced the opaque paper herb bags with a more fitting clear plastic bag. The top flap has the illustration from the front face and the name of the herb so you can quickly and easily identify what it is. The side panels contained the company information, custom barcode and usage suggestions.
