This project is to explore my assumptions about my understanding of visual communication design. The outcome of this design is to probe a specific piece of communication about what I know and see. This will occur in the form of a series of maps and the design of a diagrammatic representation of visual communication design as you see it.
With the development of the economy growth, more and more products can be found in the market. For instance, there are more than 10 different shampoos in Coles. It’s interested that every product has its own target audience. Every time I look at these products, I had been thinking, how does consumer make their decision? My first thought is branding. However, there are so many brands around the world and there is no way every consumer know which brand is the best for a particular type of product. Thus, the answer for me, is packaging. Packaging plays an important role in the market. It gives consumers the first impression of its branding directly and create an image of its brand and product. Packaging also attract consumer’s attention.
