Ephemera – Memories and Influences
People die, but what remains is their memory- a memory in the form of words and emotions. The mark you leave behind in the world, is what matters. Your traces are what make you immortal. Sometimes concrete sometimes mysterious. This art work reflects the concept of these mysterious traces you leave behind.
The presence of this mysterious existence is never felt until someone
or something gives it value, throwing light on it’s worth and trying to
make it appear from its disappeared being.

The phrase “Mysterious Existences”, comes from the LETTERS TO A YOUNG POET By RAINER MARIA RILKE, where the author calls works of art as
Mysterious Existences. The piece is done with Camphor on a Tile.
To take this piece forward I will soon turn the concept into a poem
and use the art piece to make a creative.
