The Food Project Campaign

An addition to the Food Project rebranding that can be viewed here. The goal was to take the previous research and decide the best way the organization could be advertised in a series of two posters. We needed to create a language that allowed both posters to speak to the organization's goals, and that the message worked as a pair or by itself. The results were a series using the powerful words from the Food Projects' slogan, and allowing the imagery to explain the words idea behind those words.

The Food Project is a non profit established in 1991. The Food Project reaches out to young adults and teenagers to volunteer and create a better, healthy environment for certain areas. Throughout Beverly, Lynn, Boston, and Lincoln, the non-profit works with as many as 120 teenagers and thousands of volunteers each year. These cities include farm area spanning across about 70 acres in eastern Massachusetts. The Food Project is an organization that wishes to create a positive social change while teaching these young adults valuable life skills. Besides learning about agriculture and sustainability, these volunteers are gaining knowledge about leadership, responsibility, and the power of a community that works together. Food produced from the farms of The Food Project are distributed throughout the communities with the help of specific programs and farmer's markets, as well as being donated to hunger relief organizations.
