Princess Padme Amidala
For a digital photo manipulation assignment I decided to do a digital painting. This project was to portray personal style and interest. As of the time I was interested in the Star Wars films I chose the character Padme Amidala. I started by sketching different ideas and researching visually in books and internet. Further I then put my idea to the computer and step by step proceeded with the painting using Adobe Photoshop.
Instead of blending a star sky photo in the background I decided to paint them all individually as it looked more coherent. Looking back on the process I learned many things considering this was my first digital painting and seeing as I have usually been more of a traditional arts person. However I plan to push my skills in digital painting further using my knowledge of the program and classic traditional rules from my art background.
