Monterey Bay Aquarium

1981 - 2004
I was a founding team member, Exhibit Production Manager, and Senior Exhibit Designer from 1981-2004 at the world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium.
I joined the aquarium team when the proposed site was a delapidated, abandoned cannery straight out of Steinbeck’s “CANNERY ROW”—I was there for the ground breaking in 1981; the grand opening in 1984; the new Outer Bay wing opening in1996; a new entrance, skywalk and Hovden Cannery exhibit in 2004; and major renovation of the original aquarium space in 2005.
