This illustration was created for the SHRED competition being held by AIGA Hampton Roads. For the competition designers were asked to design graphics for a surfboard and/or a skateboard. I choose to do a surf board because I love the ocean. I have lived by it my entire life, and my favorite thing to do is watch when dolphins surf the waves. It was this imagery and the idea of dolphins being the original surfers that inspired my design for this surfboard.
