The Centre de Beaumont Outpatient Surgery Clinic is a unique case in Switzerland:
it handles most outpatient procedures for Lausanne’s University Hospital (the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois, a public entity), but is exclusively managed by MV Santé, a private company specialized in general outpatient surgery. As of 2016, Switzerland has no other such public-private partnerships, and for this reason alone,
the Clinic’s complete story deserves to be told in greater detail than mere annual report summaries.
