"Still Films"
"Still Film" is an ongoing project about how the power of cinema dominates and shapes our perception about gestures, lightings, intimacy and violence for many years. I started projecting movies on variety of surfaces including crumbled papers, frosted glass, stained mirror, wood, etc., and then re-photographed very mundane scenes . To reach  favorable impression of each image, they were printed on different types of media, from transparency and backlit films to translucent thin vellum papers. Some works includes multilayer collages and applied painting on substrates. The installation includes video loop of altered credits created in the same way.
