For this project, I wanted to create a booklet that looked at the Ketogenic Diet from a medicinal and scientific perspective, rather than the usual nutrition and weight-loss perspective.

I used a combination of black and white photos & blue photos to create a mysterious & medical atmosphere. The diet is still being researched and studied to this day, thus I wanted to portray that curiosity into my booklet.

I incorporated the hexagonal shape, commonly used in the science field, as an accessory item. It helped bring the entire project together to feel whole.

All the photos were taken by me, except for the photo of the little boy. That was taken from CBS article online.

Overall, it was important to mention that the diet is not for everyone. The ketogenic diet is great for it's medicinal benefits but it can hurt those who suffer from type 1 diabetes.
