Air Skiff is an inflatable 4 meter skiff for two persons. It enables leisure sailers to sail with fewer transport complexity, the size of the foldet skiff fits in nearly every car.
The Hull of the skiff is subdivided into a supporting and a shaping Element. The Supporting Element of the hull consists of an inflatable frame made of braided Vectran fiber (Used as airbags in the NASA Mars explorations)and polyurethane coating.The Vectran- frame is manufacured with 3D- weaving technology, which allows to weave the air hoses in the exactly needed 3D shape. The Shaping hull consists of two foils and carbon strings which get glued in a 3D-form. Both parts together they constitutes the hull.
To deploy the boat its only needed to inflate the hull and mast till 9 bar.
