New York City is a great place to be. For many people it is the capital of the world. When you are staying in the city, you quickly become overwhelmed by the size, the skyscrapers, the noises, the mass of people and the feeling this city produces. 

Most of us know that New York City is getting more expensive every year and that only a small amount of people can afford to live in Soho, Tribeca, Williamsburg, etc.

In 2014 I wanted to know, where the "real" people of New York live. The plumbers, the waiters, the construction workers, nurses and teachers.

Some of them live on Knickerbocker Ave.
