A project to do with the explorations of a corset pattern, it is designed and stitched by me.
Taking inspiration from Vivienne Westwood's style of working and design, also taking asymmetry as my second inspiration, I designed a three layer costume. It consisted of a corset dress with frayed edges in check, a second layer of circled can can placed in an asymmetrical manner and finally a third layer of a 5 metre pleated skirt in a woolen fabric.
This was a project to do with street style, making an outfit which is fit according to the trend. This outfit consists of a t-shirt in scuba jersey, an A line skirt and a jacket made with rectangular pattern with different patchworks that were pasted on it to give it a more offbeat look.
