PERCH is a bird feeder, it is inspired by organic shapes that can be found in sea shells.
PERCH in its final form.
A desired finish.
The process of making PERCH. It started out with forming the shape out of clay, then moving on to making a mold from which the product could be cast. Once cast, it was put through a finishing stage where it was cleaned up and had necessary additions, after which, it was then fired in the kiln.
A long and interesting process.
The initial sketching phase, taking attributes found in sea shells and implementing them into possible designs. Some interesting shapes were formed.
