Everyday Epic: Final Outcomes

Because one of my story archetypes was "rebirth" I chose a story which I believe had a big rebirth emphasis. I chose "A Christmas Carol", this was because I felt like the main character of the story has a large personality change. This to me tells a story of rebirth, not in the physical sense, but in the mental, emotional sense. That was why i chose this book to illustrate his archetype.
"Crime and Punishment" is a very basic tale of tragedy, and criminal activity. There's murder, and robbery. It was the perfect title to link to the archetype of tragedy. I think the strong imagery of the knife really helps to sell the image, and the impact that comes along with tragedy.
Finally I wanted a story that related to the archetype of voyage and return, what else but the tale of "Treasure Island". It defiantly fit the voyage and return archetype. I think adding the look of the water spilling out over the page really added some interest and power to the image.
