I have a friend who, amongst other things like being a serial eater, is a very talented rapper. His name is J-K and he just released his latest album called “Contos de Espadas”. And guess who did the cover? That’s right… Me! What a thrill it was to be invited by him to be a part of this project alongside a group of 9 amazing artists who also contributed to the artwork. The request was simple — draw a sword. “Espadas” means swords in Portuguese, so this pretty much set the key visuals for what J-K had envisioned. Each artist drew their version of a sword which was then paired with a song. You can see all of them in a book that was released with the digital version of the album.
