danger of extinction in Birmingham

European Lynx... who I couldn't get to move into the sunlight  at all... even when I pushed bits of myself through the bars:-)
I say chaps!!!... this is a jolly nice stick... in fact lets just sit here for an hour looking at it, because that strange pink ape wants us to goof about like last time!
I think Lemurs are possibly my favourite fur balls... I seriously want to start a colony in my garden.
Cameroon sheep, looking very regal just chilling out.
A graceful Sandhill crane... I don't know if this is the same one that nearly knocked me over last time I was here!
These aren't particularly endangered... so could just be on holiday!
These Tamarin monkeys are rather cute - though they did insist on throwing lots of fruit at me!
On the other hand, I did have a nice fruit salad for lunch, so that's alright!
oooh - she looked sooooo very cross!!!... these meerkats weren't goofing about like they usually do either.
South American Squirrel Monkeys - trying their very best to hide in the foliage.
Extremely at risk of extinction black spider monkey... mainly due to us destroying their natural habitat in South America to plant crops and build condos.
These Pygmy goats were acting weird... they were facing away from each other. I went back a couple of hours later and neither had moved an inch... they didn't even flinch when a wallaby shot between them... surprised the heck out of me!
Actually completely unintentional... my finger moved the autofocus switch!
Really beautiful Sitatunga antelope... who you seriously can't sneak up on! The males are seriously handsome too - and horney!
Rather shy Blue Crane... as I tried to get closer, she just moved further into the bamboo and shadows, constantly preening!
Hope you enjoyed the viewing :-)
