IPHI sought to refresh their annual report which focuses on youth empowerment. As someone who has worked in youth education both as a volunteer and teacher I was inspired by the tactile feel of aimless drawings students leave on their notebooks, class notes and belongings. The texture of ruffled paper, hand lettered type and bright colors keep the report youthful. The report uses hand drawn icons and graphics by me as well as clippings of actual notes and doodles by students who took part in the related projects and studies. The cover photography is inspired by a lunch scene where ambitious students may sit on the concrete together and plan their exciting and healthy after school activities.
