spent a total of 10+ hours on it, because of how detailed I got during the process!

face & neck
— added in his eye bags to create more dimension in his face
— included the freckling to add more depth as well
— spent a particularly long time trying to make his neck wrinkles/shadows look natural
closer up view of his facial features
gradient fin
— used gradients to create more curvature in the turtle's fins
— added more freckling & wrinkles to show the connection of the fin to the turtle's body
— added thickened strokes to the leg opening to create more depth
