I was hiding in the basement of the music school at Duquesne University, where I hand recorded this on my ipod, so forgive the sound quality. This is a rare piece for me to compose first on the keyboards (KORG PA50) and then play on the piano. For what's it worth, it sounds even sadder this way. I composed it in spring 2009 one evening over the course of a few hours.
