Other Creative Projects
Some other creative projects/adverts I have made during my first year at university.
I am currently studying at The University of Gloucestershire, and during my first year I have created non-brief adverts.
Minimalist Adverts
We were required to created a minimalist advert in our first term. We had to find a logo, and change the logo in order for it to advertise something else.
For another project, we were required to find a product with bad packaging, and then redesign that packaging to appeal to a new audience.
We considered tageting two different audience. One extreme and one realistic. We started off with trying to appeal to children, and thought that by using cartoon like characters as well as bright colours would be the best theme to use.
Our second audience was a more sophisticated audience, people who want to buy quality but also not spend a fortune at the same time. We decided to experiment with Art Nouveou in the packaging design.
Another project we was given was to pick two random images. One image would be the product, and the other image would resemble a logo. From this we would then have to create an advert.
The images we chose was fruit and a frog. In my creative pair, we decided to name the brand 'Fruity Frog' and advertise fruit. We experimented with creating a suitable logo for the image and name before deciding on our final outcome.
