FUL street light series

Industrial Design
FUL lighting
FUL is a street light series with a conical section and variable curvature, providing considerable freedom to optimise their orientation and create a formal result in apparent movement. The tree-like composition of this series enhances its integration into vegetated environments, while the multiplication of the luminaries produces well-distributed and uniform light. Small overlapping luminaries with soft reflected light contrast with the considerable height of the poles, accentuating the distance between the user at ground level and the light sources, creating a sense of walking in starlight. The pillars are in COR-TEN and galvanised steel, with anchorage points for various types of commercial lamps available for outdoor use. The choice and angle of the reflector help to ensure that the light is shed vertically to prevent light pollution. FUL street lights were initially designed by architects Jaume Artigues and Pere Cabrera for a lighting project along the Raval watercourse. Escofet first produced the initial series, FUL-12, FUL-10 and FUL-9 in 2001, and extended the collection with the shorter models, FUL-7/9, FUL-7/10 and FUL-5
