Student PSA Film - Puppet

Brief: As part of my 2nd semester curriculum at NID (National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad), we were asked to make a PSA film between 45 - 60 seconds for Road safety. The budget for the same was INR 3000 (including another ad) and we were given a day with all the required equipment to shoot the same. The topic was open to interpretation.

PSA: Having seen so many ads of Road safety, including some very effective and good one, I wanted to make an ad that would be impactful but also lasting and I decided to do this using humour.

Backseat driving is a nuisance all of us have faced at some point in our lives. And I decided to use this as the core idea of the film. What happens when you are woken up by someone using force? And then forced through your daily routine subsequently by others? With no control over your movements, aren't you not using your full, true potential?

Watch the PSA and find out :)
